CertificatePinningException class

Exception for SSL certificate pinning validation failures.

Thrown when the server's SSL certificate doesn't match the expected pinned certificate, potentially indicating:

  • Man-in-the-middle attack attempts
  • Network proxy interference
  • Expired or rotated server certificates

The default message emphasises security without alarming users, explaining that the connection was blocked to protect their data.

Example:

if (certificateValidationFailed) {
  throw CertificatePinningException(
    message: 'Certificate validation failed for api.mfopro.com',
  );
}
